RVs CAN be minimalist, or they can be luxurious gas hoggin' getaways for indulgent types. Personally, I would like to get an RV as a permanent home, because I like the idea of a small home, and being able to travel in it. Gas might suck, but that depends on the type of RV you get, how much you drive it, whether you tow a lot of stuff, whether you have another vehicle to drive once you get to your general destination, etc. Well… it depends.
